Ive had the bgs-pro for 2 weeks. After ditching my old 52v geared hub bike (which broke gears twice and topped out at a measly 33 mph), I bought this. The sparkling dark purple paintjob looks insanely premium, high-quality materials everywhere, and it hits 40-41 mph gps. The direct-drive motor means that it’s reliable, with a punchy, linear throttle that has zero delay or jitter. It climbs up hills like a freight train. Handling is stable and agile despite the weight, the suspension is comfortable, and range is good so far in my testing.
I like the multi-mode headlights (yellow, white, both, or flash), and the Fardriver delivers smooth, powerful performance that's miles ahead. If you plan on riding this frequently at 30-40 mph you might want to swap out the brakes (i suggest sticking with DYISLAND and getting 4 pistons or buying Frog Wake FV4) and also swap the stock throttle grips out (they dont feel the best), but overall great bike 9.5/10, and yes from 0 there is a bit of a “lul” for a split second but this is probably just the controller sensors detecting where the motor positions are before sending full power which helps it be more reliable
